10 July 2015 Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie Pringle has named his squad for the Marine Harvest North Division 2 clash with Strathspey Camanachd at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 11 July 2015. Pringle makes four changes to the fifteen-man squad which beat Lewis Camanachd 9-1 in the league in Shawbost last weekend. Keeper Jamie Gannon is unavailable so Ross Graham takes over in goal. There is a first appearance this season for Chris Rose and Allan MacLeod, James Pringle and Ian MacPherson are recalled in what is a sixteen-man squad. John Gillies is called up by the first team whilst Neil John Campbell and Connor Gilpin drop out of the squad. This is a first visit to Pairc nan Laoch, Portree for Strathspey Camanachd. The sides did meet at Grantown Grammar School in last year’s Strathdearn Cup semi-finals and it took a John Gillies hat-trick and an Alan Palmer goal to give Skye a narrow 4-3 victory. A Mark MacDonald double and an Edgars Peca goal counted for Strathspey. In a change of match referee, Jim Barr now takes charge of the game. Throw up is at 2.30pm and the match will be broadcast live on Cuillin FM.
