03 April 2014 Skye Camanachd first team manager John MacLeod has named his squad for the Balliemore Cup first round tie against Strachur at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 5 April 2014. The Islanders’ first team manager will be without Shockie MacLennan who is working whilst Paul MacKinnon drops down to the second team. Midfielder Gilleasbuig MacDonald is included although he will have a late fitness test after picking up an injury against Glenurquhart last weekend. However Jordan Murchison and Neil MacVicar return to the squad after missing out last week through work commitments. John Montgomery’s Strachur side play in Marine Harvest South Division 1.They have played twice in the league this season – drawing at home to both Kilmory and Strachur. They were knocked out of the Glasgow Celtic Society Cup last weekend; going down 3-1 to Glenorchy. The whole match will be broadcast live on Cuillin FM. Throw up is at 2.35pm.
