02 March 2016 Skye Camanachd first team manager John MacLeod has named his squad for the opening Marine Harvest Premiership match of the season against Lovat at Balgate, Portree on Saturday 5 March 2016. The Skye boss is without four forwards; Will Cowie and Danny Morrison are both abroad whilst Shockie MacLennan and Iain Nicolson are both working. Jamie Gannon takes over in goal from Iain MacLeod. There are call ups from the second team for John Angus MacInnes, John Gillies, Ally “Cleodi” MacLeod and Neil John Campbell. Lovat boss John MacRitchie will relay on the squad which lifted the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup last season. However he is without the suspended Lorne MacKay whilst Calum MacAulay is ruled out through injury. Throw up is at 2.30pm and the whole match will be broadcast LIVE on radio and online on Cuillin FM’s Camanachd Live show from 2.15pm.
