Skye Camanachd v Kilmallie – Team News | |
01 April 2016 Skye Camanachd first team manager John MacLeod has named his squad for the RBS MacTavish Cup first round tie against Kilmallie at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 2 April 2016. The tie was postponed last weekend because of an unplayable field. MacLeod makes a couple of changes to the 14-man squad which was named for the tie last weekend. Allan MacKinnon is on holiday and there are call-ups for Iain Nicolson and Neil John Campbell. Will Cowie remains an absentee as does the injured Ally “Spod” MacLeod whilst Iain MacLeod continues to deputise for Jamie Gannon in goal. Kilmallie boss Mark MacPherson will be without Scotland U17 player Craig MacIsaac who serves the second match of a two-game ban for passing the disciplinary points threshold. MacIsaac’s booking against Kingussie in the Marine Harvest Premiership play-off match at the end of last season triggered the suspension. Throw up is at 2.30pm and there will be extra-time and penalties if necessary. The whole match will be broadcast LIVE on radio and online on Cuillin FM’s Camanachd Live show from around 2.15pm. Note – There will be an 8am Saturday morning pitch inspection and the tie will be transferred to another venue if necessary.
