08 April 2016 Skye Camanachd first team manager John MacLeod has named his squad for the Marine Harvest Premiership clash with Fort William at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 9 April 2016. There are three changes to the side which beat Kilmallie in the RBS MacTavish Cup last weekend. Glasgow-based Chris MacLennan will play for the Skye second team against Glasgow Mid Argyll at Yoker in the Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup first round. He will be joined by Neil John Campbell and Iain MacLeod. Allan MacKinnon returns to the first team from holiday as does Jamie Gannon who is back in goal. There’s a first call-up of the season for Allan Macleod. The Skye boss remains without Will Cowie and the injured Ally “Spod” MacLeod. Fort William will do a late check on Daniel Stewart who was substituted in the 2-0 Marine Harvest Premiership defeat to Lovat last weekend with what appeared to be a hamstring problem. Throw up is at 2.30pm and the whole match will be broadcast LIVE on radio and online on Cuillin FM’s Camanachd Live show from around 2.15pm.
