Skye made a change on 10 minutes with Angus MacDonald introduced in place of Mark MacQueen who was suffering from a toe injury. The switch paid off 3 minutes later when MacDonald sent in a speculative shot from the half-way line which deceived the Oban keeper Dougie MacDonald and the ball ended up in the back of the net. MacLeod doubled his tally 5 minutes later with a fine turn and shot into the roof of the net 3-0. Skye keeper Murphy Henderson pulled off a fantastic save with his stick on 31minites and Skye took their 4-1 lead into the half-time break. Dan MacDonald got in on the scoring with a great shot from 18 yards on 37 minutes to make it 5-1. Ryan Macaskill pounced on a loose ball in the Oban area 45 minutes and he pushed the ball home to make it 6-1. Ryan Macaskill got his second to make it 7-1 on 50 minutes. Macaskill slotted the ball home after a terrific move which involved all the Skye forwards. Skye made a change on 55 minutes with mark MacQueen re-introduced in place of Martin Pringle. Oban tried hard to get back in the game but the Skye defence stood firm. Abby Maclean and Gilleasbuig MacVicar came on for Skye on 60 minutes, replacing Dan MacDonald and Ryan Macaskill. Oban pulled another goal back on 68 minutes to make it 7-2. Shortly afterwards, Skye forward Ruaraidh MacLeod had be helped off the pitch after a crude challenge by his Oban marker. Christina MacDonald and Connor Gilpin were outstanding in the Skye defence whilst Angus MacDonald put in a great performance in the middle of the park.
