The Skye Camanachd first team were in action this weekend.

The Skye Camanachd first team lost 4-1 in their Marine Harvest Premiership encounter with champions Newtonmore at the Eilan on Saturday 29 October 2016. Evan Menzies and Fraser MacKintosh gave ‘More a two-goal lead before a Jordan Murchison rocket-shot from a tight angle gave Skye hope. However Fraser MacKintosh went on to complete his hat-trick with two goals after the break. Congratulations to Newtonmore who were presented with a superb seventh successive Marine Harvest Premiership trophy after the match, completing another successful season. With only three points separating fifth place and ninth place in the league, Skye have just fallen short this year and they drop into the Marine Harvest National Division next season.
