26 August 2017 It was another big week for Skye Camanachd. The Skye Camanachd first team eventually lost 4-1 to Newtonmore in the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup semi-finals at The Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 26 August 2017. Glen MacKintosh gave ‘More an interval lead but James Pringle equalised within seconds of the restart. Three goals in the final 20 minutes of the tie gave Newtonmore the win with Glen MacKintosh again, Craig Ritchie and Jamie Robinson all on target. Congratulations to Newtonmore and well done to the big Skye support who attended the game. The Skye Camanachd second team have completed their competitive fixtures for the season. Skye Camanachd Ladies travel to play Badenoch & Strathspey Ladies in Marine Harvest National Division 1 on Sunday 27 August 2017. Skye Camanachd Ladies hosted the latest round of WCA Development matches at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 26 August 2017. Skye Camanachd U17 were to play Strathglass U17 in a London Shield match at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Tuesday 22 August 2017. However this match will now take place this coming week. Skye Camanachd U14 were to play Kilmallie U14 in a Marine Harvest North Division 2 encounter at The Canal Parks on Friday 25 August 2017 but the match was called off because of an unplayable pitch. |
