The Skye Camanachd first team go three points clear at the top of the Marine Harvest National Division after defeating Inverness 2-0 at the Bught Park on Saturday 12 August 2017. Will Cowie in the first half and Iain MacLellan after the break got the goals that made the difference. The Skye Camanachd second team played their final home Marine Harvest North Division 1 fixture of the season, beating the Beauly second team 3-2 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 12 August 2017. Kenny MacLeod scored twice to give Skye a 2-0 lead at the break. Daniel Lamont and Callum Flynn drew Beauly level before Kenny MacLeod completed his hat-trick with just 3 minutes to go. Skye had keeper Ryan Morrison to thank for two fantastic saves – one in each half. Skye Camanachd Ladies were 12-0 victors in their Marine Harvest National Division 1 encounter with Fort William Ladies at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 12 August 2017. Lorna MacRae scored four times, Caitlin MacLean and Abby MacLean grabbed hat-tricks and Ilana Paterson and Sarah Corrigall got the others. Skye Camanachd U17 lost 1-0 to Fort William U17 in their London Shield clash at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Tuesday 8 August 2017. Victor Smith scored the only goal of the game after 61 minutes. Skye Camanachd U14 were to play Inverness U14 in a friendly match at Pairc nan Loach, Portree on Friday 11 August 2017. However the wet weather on Friday morning led to a postponement. |
