The Skye Camanachd first team beat Oban Celtic 3-0 in their Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup second round tie at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 1 June 2019. Goals from Iain MacLellan, Ross Gordon and Jordan Murchison sent Skye through to Monday’s quarter-final draw. The Skye Camanachd second team drew 0-0 in their Mowi North Division 1 match against the Kinlochshiel second team at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 1 June 2019. The Mowi North Division 2 match between the Fort William Ladies and the Skye Camanachd Ladies second team at An Aird on Sunday 2 June 2019 was postponed because of the weather. Skye Camanachd U17 were to have a have a London Shield match against Kinlochshiel U17 at Kirkton on Tuesday 28 May 2019. However Kinlochshiel had a rearranged MacTavish Cup tie against Kinlochshiel so Skye were without a fixture. Skye Camanachd A U14 lost 8-0 against a good Beauly U14 side in their MacMaster Cup first round tie at Braeview Park on Friday 31 May 2019. Skye Camanachd B U14 took part in the latest round of Development League A matches at Cannich against Ardnamurchan U14, Glengarry U14 and host club Strathglass U14 on Thursday 30 May 2019. Skye Camanachd also took part in the second round of the Camanachd Association Cup; a new competition in the primary school age shinty calendar. After their first round win over Balnain & Glen, the Skye Camanachd squad, made up of pupils from all around the Island, beat Inverness 6-1 at the Bught Park on Saturday 1 June 2019 and they are now through to the semi-final stage. |
