Nicola MacSween was named 2014 Skye Camanachd Ladies Most Improved Player of the Year at the club’s Annual Dinner Dance at the Skye Camanachd Clubhouse on Saturday 22 November 2014.

Nicola MacSween’s return from a knee injury was a timely boost for the Skye Ladies in their first season playing national shinty. She was a mainstay in defence as the team secured second place in Marine Harvest National Division 1 and finished runners-up in the Valarie Fraser Cup – losing out both times to the more established Gllasgow Mid Argyll. Nicola MacSween also respresented the North in their annual meeting with the South.
