Skye Camanachd will play Marine Harvest National Division side Kilmallie in the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup quarter finals at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 5 July 2014.
The draw for shinty’s top prize was made by Camanachd Association President Archie Robertson and Glasgow 2014 Chief Executive David Grevemberg at Commonwealth, Glasgow on Monday 2 June 2014. Camanachd Association Chieftain Jock Turner was also present.

Speaking after the draw, Camanachd Association President Archie Robertson said, “We are delighted that David was able to be part of today’s draw and appreciate his support for shinty. Today’s draw has again produced some tough ties that make it a very interesting and challenging road to this year’s Final in Inverness in September.”
Glasgow 2014 Chief Executive David Grevemberg emphasised shinty’s role in Scottish life saying, “Shinty is an important part of Scotland’s sporting culture and I was delighted to be part of today’s draw. The 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will deliver a unique sporting celebration for Scotland and a legacy that will benefit all of Scottish sport.”
