26 August 2018 Ross Gordon and Martin Pringle both scored a goal in each half as the Skye Camanachd second team overcame Aberdeen University 4-1 in their Marine Harvest North Division 1 match at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 25 August 2018. Skye manager Kenny MacLeod brought Ruaraidh MacLeod, Connor Gilpin, Cameron MacKay, James Morrison and Jamie Gillies into his squad in place of Angie MacDonald, Lorna MacRae, Calum Gibb and Iain Nicolson. Aberdeen only travelled for this 3pm throw up with eleven players. Ross Gordon scored Skye’s opener on 8 minutes and Martin Pringle’s 31 minute effort gave the Islanders a 2-0 interval lead. Martin Pringle got his second and Skye’s third on 49 minutes and although Jamie Beaton pulled a goal back on 63 minutes, Ross Gordon got his second on 79 minutes to make the final score 4-1.
