15 April 2019 The Skye Camanachd reserves and the Lovat reserves shared the points in a goalless draw in their Mowi North Division 1 clash at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 13 April 2019. Skye Camanachd second team co-managers David MacInnes and Daniel Morrison named an unchanged squad from the one that defeated the Kilmallie second team in the previous week’s Sutherland Cup first round tie. Indeed the starting line-up was also the same although substitute Ian Munro was a late call-off. Newly promoted Lovat went into this 2pm throw up as league leaders although they have played a couple of games more than the teams immediately below them. With full back Jamie Matheson dominating matters, Skye found it difficult to get shots on target. Lovat, with Raymond Rennie at full forward, were aways a threat in attack. Skye picked up a trio of injuries over the 90 minutes with Sam MacPhee (chipped bone), Iain Murray (knee) and Calum Robertson (broken thumb) set for a spell on the sidelines.
