New Shinty Ambassadors Selected | |
17 October 2018 The names of the first ever Camanachd Association Shinty Ambassadors have been revealed. Twelve High Schools from across Scotland will participate in a pilot scheme which aims to boost shinty participation. The Shinty Ambassadors will come together three times in the year to take part in training / reflection / evaluation workshops and it is hoped that with training delivered by professionals, and the overwhelming support received from schools, teachers and active schools coordinators around this programme, that hundreds of young people will have the opportunity to become involved within the participation and competition events shinty can provide.
