Skye Camanachd and Badenoch meet in the WCA Mowi Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup Final at the Dell on Saturday 7 September 2019.
The Skye squad has made their final preparations and they are ready for what will be their fifth Valerie Fraser Cup Final in the last six years.
Skye captain Ilana Paterson said: “The atmosphere in the squad has been really good overall. We’ve been training hard, especially in the weeks leading up this game. Obviously the nerves are starting to creep in a bit now but the girls are in good form and are excited about the game.”
The sides have already met twice this season; both times in the league. Badenoch won 2-1 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree whilst Skye were victorious 4-3 at the Dell. Ilana Paterson is expecting another close encounter. She added: “They are always close games against Badenoch. We are expecting what will be another fast-paced, end-to-end game which should be exciting for everyone to watch.”
