12 July 2013 Lochaber were dealt a blow when two of their players were given suspensions following a Camanachd Association Disciplinary Committee meeting on Thursday 11 July 2013. Lochaber players Neil MacDonald and Stuart Callison were reported to the Camanachd Association Disciplinary Committee following Lochaber’s Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup draw with Glenurquhart on Saturday 1 June 2013. Lochaber were leading 3-2 when the Glen’s Ewan Brady equalised late into stoppage time. Both MacDonald and Callison made comments to referee Graham Cameron which led to Neil MacDonald receiving a two match ban with Stuart Callison being suspended for one match.
