The make-up for shinty’s various leagues has been confirmed ahead of the start of the 2014 shinty season.
This will be the first season of the new controversial league structure which sees the Orion Group Premiership reduced to eight teams and the introduction of a new national second tier.
Ballachulish and Glenorchy have introduced second teams in the South. Strathglass have withdrawn their second team in the North but their reserves will play in the cup competitions. Kincraig have been working hard to re-introduce their club into the league but they are not quite ready for the 2014 shinty season.
Each league will be made up of just eight teams whilst Marine Harvest North Division 3 will have only six sides.
