07 October 2015 Kinlochshiel U17 are through to the London Shield semi-finals after they beat Skye Camanachd U17 1-0 in their London Shield play-off match at Kirkton on Monday 5 October 2015. Skye Camanachd U17 Youth Coach Davie Pringle was without James Pringle who suffered a hand injury in the Skye Camanachd second team’s Marine Harvest North Division 2 win over Inverness last weekend. With the sides finishing their league group level on points behind leaders Beauly U17, the outcome of this 5.30pm throw up would determine who goes forward to the semi-final stage of this year’s competition. After an even first half, Skye had a lot of pressure in the second period without really looking like scoring. Kinlochshiel took advantage and Calum Dean Morrice scored from a rebound with just 5 minutes remaining.
