Badenoch Youths Set For Shinty / Hurling Challenge | |
16 April 2014 A Badenoch U17 side will take on Naomh MearnĂ³g U17 from Portmarnock, North County Dublin, in a Shinty / Hurling clash at The Dell, on Sunday 20 April 2014. The match will be played under the international cross-code rules used each year in the international meetings between Scotland and Ireland. Throw in is at 2.30pm and entrance is free. After the game, both squads will attend a meal in The Silverfjord Hotel, Kingussie. Naomh MearnĂ³g U17 arrive in Badenoch on Friday evening and they will spend the weekend at Loch Insh, Kincraig. Their party of 18 youth players and 4 coaches will visit the Highland Folk Museum on Saturday morning. They will then have lunch at the Balavil Hotel before attending the RBS MacTavish Cup quarter final tie at the Eilan between Newtonmore and Beauly as guests of Newtonmore Camanachd Club. |
