John Gillies Awarded Sandy MacKay Medal | |
15 June 2016 Skye Camanachd’s John Gillies was awarded the coveted Sandy MacKay Medal after being named man of the match in the 2016 RBS MacTavish Juvenile Cup Final win over Fort William U17 at the Bught Park on Saturday 11 June 2016. John Gillies turned in a superb performance at full centre in the team’s 2-1 win as the Islanders won the MacTavish Juvenile Cup for the first time since 2011. Gillies becomes the third Skye player to win the award.
