Inaugural WCA North U14 v South U14 | |
18 October 2017 A busy day’s action at The Bught Park, Inverness gets underway at 10.30am when the North U14 and South U14 sides meet in a challenge match on Saturday 21 Ovtober 2017. The Women’s Camanachd Association has introduced this new category of U14 match in the hope of providing a better pathway for their younger players. This representative match will take place as the curtain raiser ahead of the Shinty / Hurling international between the Scotland and Ireland U21 and senior squads. This North are coached by Glengarry’s Laura MacKay and there are four players - . Holly MacLean, Holly MacPhee, Anna MacPhee and Ceitidh Smith – from Skye Camanachd’s Development League squad whilst Laura Brandie and Caitlin Mutch represent host club Inverness. Lyndsay Bradley from Ardnamurchan takes charge of the South. There are no fewer than seven players - Frances MacDonald, Rachel Ford, Kirsty Campbell, Katie Cameron, Lisa Ford, Aine O’Rua, and Ellen Munro – from Marine Harvest South Division 2 champions Ardnamurchan in her squad.
