20 June 2013 Fort William U17 won the MacRae & Dick Strathdearn Sixes following a 1-0 victory over Lochaber U17 in the final at the Bught Park, Inverness on Wednesday 19 June 2013. Fourteen teams from across the North competed in the tournament with Lochaber, Skye Camanachd, Kinlochshiel and Fort William reaching the semi final stage. Glenurquhart, Newtonmore, Inverness, Kingussie, Lovat, Beauly, Caberfeidh, Lochaber, Skye Camanachd, Fort William, Kilmallie, Strathglass, Lochbroom and last season winner’s Kinlochshiel all contested two round robin leagues of seven which ended with Fort William and Skye top of the Blue league and Lochaber and Kinlochshiel winning through the Red league. Lochaber saw off Skye Camanachd 3–0 in their semi final while Fort William needed an extra time golden goal to get past an impressive Kinlochshiel side after a 1-1 draw.
