Dunadd Undertake ELS & Defibrillator Training | |
06 December 2016 Ten Dunadd Camanachd members took part in Emergency Life Saving (ELS) and Defibrillator training at the Lochgilphead Joint Campus. This course, which is free of charge, was delivered by Regional Development Officer, Euan McMurdo as part of Heartstart Camanachd’s initiative to give every shinty club across Scotland training on these vital skills as well as access to a defibrillator. The course content is provided by Heartstart Scotland and Lucky2BHere and aims to either up-skill or provide new knowledge and confidence to participants to enable them to save lives. Dunadd have now been invited to fundraise for a defibrillator as part of the Camanachd Association’s club accreditation scheme. They will also work alongside the Euan McMurdo to ensure the club are stronger moving forward. |
