Former Scotland Head Coach and Glenurquhart co-manager Drew McNeil spoke to the Lochaber News this week to give his views on the new shinty league structure.

Speaking about the Orion Group Premiership, the vastly experienced former Scotland Head Coach said, “I was never really convinced of the reasons why they were changing it. They wanted to reduce the number of games yet they are introducing Shields so if you are out of one competition, you go into a Shield so that’s creating more games. The majority of people aren’t in favour.”
