Local Radio station Cuillin FM continues their live shinty coverage on Saturday 28 June 2014.

The “Camanachd Live” programme, sponsored by Marine Harvest, is broadcast both on the radio and online each Saturday afternoon and this week’s programme starts from the earlier time of 1pm.

This weekend’s featured match is the Marine Harvest North Division 1 meeting between Skye Camanachd and Strathglass at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. Throw up is at 3pm and John Matheson is the match referee.

Before that, there will also be second half match commentary from the Marine Harvest North Division 2 derby between the Skye Camanachd and Kinlochshiel at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. Throw up is at noon and Ronnie Campbell is the match referee. Cuillin FM will broadcast live from 1pm.  

Match commentary will come from Alasdair Bruce and he will be joined by Lochcarron boss Ross Brown and Drew Millar.

Cuillin FM covered 30 matches throughout the 2013 shinty season and the next matches scheduled for coverage are as follows:

• Saturday 5 July 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Kilmallie (Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup)
• Saturday 12 July 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Ballachulish (Balliemore Cup Final from Taynuilt)
