Local Radio station Cuillin FM has announced which shinty matches they will cover in the early part of the 2014 shinty season.

The games will feature on the “Camanachd Live” programme, sponsored by Marine Harvest, which will be broadcast both on the radio and on-line from 2.30pm on a Saturday afternoon from 1 March 2014.

Cuillin FM has asked the Camanachd Association if these matches can be scheduled for a 2.35pm throw up so as to allow an introduction time for each programme.

Cuillin FM covered 30 matches throughout the 2013 shinty season and the first set of matches to be covered this year is as follows:

• Saturday 1 March 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Beauly (Marine Harvest North Division 1)
• Saturday 8 March 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Strathglass (Marine Harvest North Division 1)
• Saturday 15 March 2014 – Kinlochshiel v Kingussie (Orion Group Premiership)
• Saturday 22 March 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Lovat (Marine Harvest North Division 1)
• Saturday 29 March 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Glenurquhart (MacTavish Cup First Round)
• Saturday 5 April 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Strachur – (Balliemore Cup First Round)
• Saturday 12 April 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Newtonmore (Marine Harvest North Division 1)
• Saturday 19 April 2014 – Depends on MacTavish Cup Quarter Final Draw
• Saturday 26 April 2014 – Skye Camanachd v Fort William (Marine Harvest North Division 2)
