13 August 2014 The 2014 Bullough Cup Final between Inveraray and Kyles Athletic takes place at Strachurmore on Saturday 16 August 2014
Inveraray’s route to the final has been as follows: Saturday 31 May 2014 Bullough Cup - First Round Inveraray 6 Glasgow Mid Argyll 0 Inveraray were too strong for Glasgow Mid Argyll, as they won 6-0 in their noon throw up at the Winterton. An Iain MacDonald double, Neil Shaw, two from Ewan Fyfe and one from Gordon Pirie all counted for Inveraray.
Saturday 14 June 2014 Bullough Cup - Quarter Final Ballachulish 1 Inveraray 2 Inveraray edged out Ballachulish 2-1 at Jubilee Park. Morgan Smith was on target for the home side but goals from Cameron Hendry and Fraser Watt gave Inveraray victory.
Saturday 2 August 2014 Bullough Cup - Semi Final The Scots 0 Inveraray 1 Inveraray won through to the Bullough Cup Final following with a 1-0 win over The SCOTS at Musselburgh. It looked as if referee Neil MacDonald was going to have to take the tie into extra-time when youngster Fraser Watt, who has been in great goal scoring form this season, popped up with just 6 minutes remaining to score the goal that would send the Marine Harvest South Division 2 side into the final.
The 2014 Bullough Cup Final throws up is at 3.30pm and John MacGregor is the match referee. Entry is £5 with £3 for concessions and U12s accompanied by an adult go free.
Bullough Plate Final Earlier in the afternoon, the Aberdour and Glenorchy reserve sides meet at the same venue in the Bullough Plate Final. Throw up is at 1.30pm and Ewen MacDonald is the match referee. |
