Better News For The Skye Camanachd First Team On The Injury Front | |
30 March 2014 There was better news for the Skye Camanachd first team after John MacLeod’s side picked up several accidental injuries in the 1-0 extra time RBS MacTavish Cup first round defeat to Orion Group Premiership side Glenurquhart at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 29 March 2014. Skye Camanachd first team manager John MacLeod spoke the day after the game and said, “The ccasualty list looks a lot better today, Allan MacKinnon had four stitches inserted inside his mouth and another four stitches on the outside but he is fine. Shockie MacLennan is on the mend after taking a sore one to the ankle. There is also good news from Iain Murray. He took a knock to the eye but the blurriness in his eye had gone. He has a cracker of a shiner though. Kenny MacLeod also sustained a head knock and he is bruised but alright. Will Cowie showed no after-effects to his hamstring injury although he did suffer a bit of cramp. Gibbs MacDonald was the only other injury but we’ll just put his twinge down to old age.” The Skye Camanachd first team play Strachur at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree in the first round of the Balliemore Cup on Saturday 5 April 2014. |
