Beauly Announce 2014 Player of the Year Awards | |
16 November 2014 Beauly announced their Player of the Year award winners for the 2014 shinty season at their Annual Prize-Giving at the Priory on 15 November 2014. David Neilson collected the DJ Fraser Trophy as Senior Player of the Year for the Marine Harvest National Division side. The Lymburn Trophy for Players’ Player of the Year went to Scotland international Conor Cormack. Youth was to the fore as hit-man Robbie Brindle picked up the Ken Ross Trophy as second team Player of the Year. The Centenary Vase for Young Player of the Year went to former Uist Camanachd player Ewen Campbell who established himself as a regular in the Beauly reserve side during the 2014 campaign. Lee Dunbar was presented with the Joe MacLean Trophy as U14 Player of the Year after a good season for the youngsters. The John MacKenzie unsung hero award went to reserve player and Youth Coach Neil Brindle. |
