Beauly Announce 2012 Award Winners | |
20 February 2013 Beauly Shinty Club have announced their annual awards for the 2012 shinty season Conor Cormack won the Player of the Year Award following a season where he was again selected for the Scotland U21 squad. The Players’ Player of the Year Award went to young defender Scott MacLeod who not only established himself as a key member of the first team defence but also represented Scotland at U17 level for the second time. Martin Davidson’s goal scoring exploits earned him the reserve team Player of the Year Award after a season when the team won both Marine Harvest North Division 3 and the Strathdearn Cup. The Young Player of the Year Award went to Calum Morrison who was another key member of the double winning reserve side and who has also made some appearances for the first team. Liam Symonds was given the Youth Player of the Year Award and he will surely become a key player for the club if he keeps progressing. Muriel Eaton was presented with the Jock MacKenzie Unsung Hero Award for her sterling efforts on behalf of the Braeview Park club. |
