Inveraray and Kyles Athletic both have selection decisions to make ahead of their AJG Parcels Glasgow Celtic Society Cup Final at the Strachurmore Sports Centre, Strachur on Saturday 29 June 2013.
Inveraray co-managers Graeme MacPherson and Garry MacPherson will be pleased to have Alan MacDonald free of suspension after he served the second game of a two match ban for a points accumulation in the 0-0 draw with Lovat last weekend. However the game has come too soon for David Robertson who is still recovering from a torn hamstring. Midfielder David MacPherson has been out for the last six weeks with a broken thumb. However he has been training through the week with a protective glove and he has a slim chance of making Inveraray’s cup final squad.
Kyles Athletic bosses Norman MacDonald and James Perlich will be without the suspended Robbie MacLeod as his two match ban from his semi final red card against Oban Camanachd means he pays a heavy price by missing the final. However, apart from having to replace their captain MacLeod, MacDonald and Perlich expect their squad to be along usual line.
The 109th AJG Parcels Glasgow Celtic Society Cup Final takes place at the Strachurmore Sports Centre, Strachur on Saturday 29 June 2013. Throw up is at 4pm and Colin MacDonald is the match referee. There will be hot and cold snacks on sale as well as a beer tent and there will be a selection of tunes from the Dunoon Grammar School Pipe Band throughout the day. Admission is £10 (includes match programme), with £5 Concessions and Children Under 15 go free.
