2016 Camanachd Cup Final …………. 1 Day To Go! | |
16 September 2016 The early team news is emerging ahead of the 2016 Camanachd Cup Final between Newtonmore and Oban Camanachd takes place at An Aird on Saturday 17 September 2016. Newtonmore’s main concern is forward Chris Sellar who had been sidelined with an infected knee. Sellar has been training through the week and manager Paul John MacKintosh will give him every chance to prove he is fit enough to secure a place in the squad. Oban Camanachd boss Iain Hay saw both Daniel Cameron and Andrew MacCuish require stitches to head cuts after the 4-1 win over Fort William last weekend but both should take their places in the side for the final. Young defender Ross MacMillan has recovered from a knee injury and he was an unused substitute in the Fort William match but took part in the U17 South of Scotland Sixes the following day.
