2015 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Finals | |
08 August 2015 The first of the 2015 All-Ireland semi-finals takes place this weekend as Kilkenny and Waterford meet at Croke Park on Sunday 9 August 2015. Kilkenny start as favourites and they have not lost to Waterford since the 1959 All-Ireland Final. However Kilkenny, who are bidding for their fifteenth All-Ireland Final appearance in the last eighteen years, have injury concerns. The experienced Jackie Tyrrell and Richie Power are both out but TJ Reid, Richie Hogan and Michael Fennelly have been passed fit to play. The absence of Tyrell and Power will give hope to a Waterford panel who are bidding to reach their first final since 2008. Throw in is at 3.30pm and the whole match will be broadcast LIVE on Skye Sports 3 with coverage starting from 3pm.
