The weather has affected the shinty fixture schedule for Saturday 8 October 2011.

The Scottish Hydro Premier Division match between Kyles Athletic and Inveraray has been postponed because the pitch at Tighnabruaich is again unplayable.

This leaves Kyles at home to Kingussie next weekend but the Shinty / Hurling internationals take place on the following two Saturdays. Therefore unless an alternative solution can be found, it looks as if Kyles' home matches against Newtonmore and Inveraray will not be able to be rescheduled until the first two Saturdays in November 2011 at the earliest.

The vital match in the same division between Oban Camanachd and Kilmallie is off as Mossfield is unplayable. 

An unplayable pitch has also ruled out the Marine Harvest South Division 1 match between Kilmory and Bute.

The Marine Harvest North Division 2 game between Kinlochshiel and Kilmallie is off as Kirkton is unplayable.

In the same division, the game between Glengarry and Lovat has been switched to Balgate as the Invergarry pitch is unplayable.
