Beauly Shinty Players Go The Extra Mile. | |
28 September 2011 When Kinlochshiel's Graham MacRae suffered a mouth injury during his side's 3-1 win against Beauly at Braeview Park at the end of August, he required a trip to Raigmore Hospital. Graham MacRae appeared to lose two teeth in a clash during the game but the teeth were gathered and he was taken to Raigmore Hospital to have them put back in. However when the 'Shiel defender reached the hospital, medical staff noticed that a third tooth was in fact also missing. Word was relayed back to Braeview Park where the game had already finished. The Beauly players took up the challenge and headed back out onto the pitch and searched the area where the incident took place. A long search took place but their mission was a success as they found the missing tooth and it was despatched to Raigmore Hospital where it was put back in place with the other two teeth! |
