19 August 2011 Skye Camanachd assistant manager Ross Cowie has named a 15 man squad for the Marine Harvest North Division 1 match against Kinlochshiel at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 20 August 2011. Skye manager Aonghas MacDonald has been working away but he will be back to join Cowie on the touchline. There are five changes to the squad which lost to Beauly five weeks ago. A back injury continues to rule out Alan Palmer whilst Iain Murray, Kerr Gibb, Iain Nicolson and Gilleasbuig MacDonald are unavailable. Shaun Hedley is unwell. However Somhairle MacDonald returns to the side and Iain Grant’s good performances for the second team are rewarded with a first team call up. AB Connor returns to the squad after missing games through work commitments. Jordan Murchison and Allan MacKinnon are called up from the second team whilst John Moir returns to the squad. A win for Kinlochshiel will give them the Marine Harvest North Division 1 title and promotion to the Scottish Hydro Premier Division. The visitors start as favourites as they have won all eleven of their league matches this season. Throw up is at 2.30pm.
