The Scotland U17 squad is set for the 2011 Ireland Tour.
The young Scots headed for Ireland on Sunday 24 July 2011 and return home on Wednesday 27 July 2011.
They will play two shinty / hurling matches. First up is a meeting with Westmeath at the Mullinger County Stadium on Monday 25 July 2011 with a 7.30pm throw up followed by a game against the Dublin U17 squad at Parnell Stadium the following night.
Skye Camanachd duo Martin Bruce and Jordan Murchison are included in the squad.
The 17 man squad is dominated by North players with only three coming from the South. Lochaber have the most representation with four players, whilst Glasgow Mid Argyll and Skye Camanachd each have two players selected.
Kingussie’s Thomas Borthwick was forced to withdraw from the original squad as he will be abroad at a family wedding when the tour takes place.
