09 August 2011 The Skye Camanachd second team has five matches left to preserve their Marine Harvest North Division 2 status. The Islanders currently sit bottom of the league with 7 points from 13 games. That is the same points total as Kilmallie who have played a game more. Indeed half the league can be considered to be in relegation danger with only four points separating the bottom five sides. Skye have only scored 20 goals from their 13 games, the lowest total in the league. However they have conceded 37 goals from these 13 matches and this total is only bettered by the top three sides in the division. They have five matches remaining. They are at home to Glenurquhart, Kilmallie and Kingussie. They have away matches against Lochaber and Skye Camanachd which takes place this Saturday. Lochaber Lochaber are in seventh place and have 10 points from 14 games. They have four matches remaining and all are at home with Skye Camanachd, Kinlochshiel, Fort William and Newtonmore to visit Spean Bridge. Lovat Lovat are in sixth place with 11 points from 15 games. They now have three matches remaining which are at home to Fort William and away to Glengarry and Fort William.
