09 August 2011 The Camanachd Association has put in place a contigency plan in case bad weather wrecks their show-piece Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup semi finals which both take place at Spean Bridge on Saturday 13 August 2011. The first match scheduled at Spean Bridge is the meeting between Inveraray and Newtonmore which has a 12.45pm throw up. Next up is the clash between Kingussie and Kilmallie which throws up at 3.30pm. The weather forecast for the weekend is for rain and the Camanachd Association has confirmed that should poor weather result in the pitch at Spean Bridge being unable to host both games, a contingency for moving games to Bught Park in Inverness and possibly also Blairbeg Park in Drumnadrochit is in place and will be activated.
