08 July 2011 The Camanachd Association Match Assessors will be in action once again on Saturday 9 July 2011. The role of the Match Assessors is to monitor and encourage all participants and spectators to adhere to the Camanachd Association Codes of Conduct. The Match Assessors report their observations to the Camanachd Association. The Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup semi final between Glenurquhart and Kyles Athletic at Taynuilt will be refereed by Daniel MacRae and John Crawford is the Match Assessor. Dondy Robertson will be the Match Assessor for the other Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup semi final between Skye Camanachd and Kingussie at Craigard, Invergarry which is refereed by Robert Baxter. David Mitchell referees the Scottish Hydro Premier Division game between Kingussie and Glenurquhart at the Dell. Sandy Skinner is the Match Assessor for this one. The match Assessor for the Scottish Hydro Premier Division meeting between Lovat and Kyles Athletic at Balgate is Graham Cormack. Graham Irving is the Match Assessor. There will be Marine Harvest North Division 2 action for Billy MacLauchlin as he will be at the game between Newtonmore and Kinlochshiel at the Eilan which is refereed by Graeme MacMillan. Caberfeidh and Beauly meet at Castle Leod in Marine Harvest North Division 3. Kevin Cheeseman is the referee and Ken MacColl will be the match Assessor. If games are postponed at short notice the Match Assessors will attend other games where possible. |
