Skye Boss MacVicar Rues Lack Of Fluency. | |
18 May 2011 Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar thought his forwards didn’t achieve the same fluency they showed the previous week following their narrow 3-2 Marine Harvest North Division 2 defeat to Lovat at Balgate on Saturday 14 May 2011. MacVicar said, “The forwards didn’t achieve the same fluency they showed against Kinlochshiel last week although we did miss Jordan Murchison and Paul MacKinnon who were on first team duty. Our passing wasn’t quite so crisp but we will work on that.” Reflecting on the game, MacVicar said, “I thought there was little between the teams and there could have been a different outcome if we had converted our early pressure into a couple more goals. We have a big game against Lovat in Portree at the end of the month in the quarter finals of the Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup and we are all looking forward to that one. ” Next for Skye Camanachd is a trip to Farr to play Boleskine in the second round of the Strathdearn Cup. |
