MacDonald Would Have Relished Bute Test With A Full Squad. | |
11 May 2011 Skye Camanachd first team manager Aonghas MacDonald said that he would have relished taking on Bute on Rothesay with a full squad following their 6-1 Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup defeat on Saturday 7 May 2011. “Bute deserved their win and they are a good side with Scottish internationals to call on. However I would have relished taking a full squad here to put ourselves to the test but we had too many guys missing to make a real game of it. However I’m pleased with the boys who did make the trip and I thought our younger players Neil MacVicar, Shaun Hedley and Ally MacDonald caught the eye.” “Our forwards did well in the first half but we were unable to supply them with enough ball in the second half. We will hopefully have a few boys back for our Balliemore Cup meeting with Beauly next weekend.” |
