MacVicar Laments Poor Performance. | |
25 March 2011 Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar lamented his side’s poor performance in their 3-0 defeat to Fort William at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree in Marine Harvest North Division 2 on Saturday 19 March 2011. MacVicar reflected on key incidents in the game. “Fort William won the toss and played with the win. The early penalty gave them an advantage. Their second goal and third goals were avoidable. Two of our defenders could have cleared the ball for the second and our keeper misjudged the third goal. We actually created better chances against the wind as we kept our shape. We didn’t bunch up front in the way we did in the second half.” “We were poor. Our hitting wasn’t good and we failed to win aerial ball in midfield and our marking wasn’t as good as it should have been. We’ll now prepare to our trip to the Dell to play Kingussie and we’ll be looking to do much better.” |
