MacRae Brothers Start Season On The Goal Trail. | |
29 January 2011 The MacRae brothers gave Kinlochshiel a pre-season friendly victory over Lovat at Balgate on Saturday 29 January 2011. Kinlochshiel were due to play Inverness at the Bught Park but the match was postponed. They sought out Kilmallie as potential opponents but when the Canals Park side was unable to oblige, Lovat stepped in to provide opposition. The match remained goalless for the first 70 minutes until Shiel took the lead through Scottish international Finlay MacRae. It looked as if this would be the deciding goal until John MacRae made it 2-0 just 3 minutes from time. Keith MacRae made it 3-0 for the Marine Harvest North Division 1 side against their Scottish Hydro Premier Division opponents in the last minute of the game. The was the first match in charge for Kinlochshiel boss Johnston Gill after 3 years as co-manager with Keith Loades. |
