Marine Harvest International – Scotland v Ireland…………….2 Days To Go! | |
11 November 2010 Scotland Head Coach Drew McNeil has only one injury concern ahead of the Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling International against Ireland at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 13 November 2010. Looking forward to the game, McNeil said, “We sustained no injuries at Croker that would affect this week’s game. However Gary Innes has been carrying a hamstring strain since before the match at Croker. This was a concern last time and we will be watching him closely again on Friday, prior to the match on Saturday, and of course during the game. It’s not a concern though as we have fantastic cover.” McNeil also expects a tough Irish challenge, no matter whether they are forced to make any changes to their squad. “The Irish players’ sustained hand knocks during the first game,” he said. “But I’ve not heard if they were breakages. They had over 60 hurlers at their trials so they won’t be stuck for players, that’s for sure.” The Scotland v Ireland International will not be shown on television so the only way to see the action is to come along to the game! Tickets for the match are priced £10 for adults and £5 for concessions with under 12s admitted entry free of charge. The Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling International between Scotland and Ireland at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 13 November 2010 starts at 2pm and will be refereed by Deek Cameron. There will also be a Shinty / Camogie clash between the Scotland Shinty Squad and the Scottish Universities Camogie Squad which starts at 12 noon. |
