08 November 2010 Marine Harvest Are 2010 Shinty / Hurling International Title Sponsor. The Camanachd Association has announced that Marine Harvest will be title sponsor of the senior Shinty / Hurling International between Scotland and Ireland at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 13 November 2010. The second test is finely poised following Scotland’s dramatic 22-21 victory at Croke Park in the first test on Saturday 30 October 2010 and the stage is set for a thrilling climax in Inverness to see who clinches the series and lifts the Marine Harvest Quaich. Marine Harvest have been fantastic supporters of shinty at all levels over the years and Marine Harvest Business Support Manager Steve Bracken is a regular at such events. He said, “As a company, we are enthusiastic supporters of shinty and delighted to have this opportunity to show our backing for the game at the highest level. We have invested in the sport for many years, from grassroots to elite, and are proud to play our part in its continued growth and development. We look forward to an exciting match on Saturday and wish the Scotland squad every success”. The Marine Harvest logo will appear on the back of the newly launced Scotland strip which will be on sale from the Shinty Shop during the day. The Marine Harvest Shinty / Hurling international second test between Scotland and Ireland starts at 2pm and the Scot’s hold a single point advantage from the first game. Fort William’s Deek Cameron is the match referee. |
