Skye Camanachd’s Kerr Gibb has been named on the stand-by list for the forthcoming shinty / hurling international against Ireland. This is just reward for Gibb’s fine performances for Skye Camanachd this season. Gibb is one of several players who travels from Glasgow, where he is a student, to play for the Islanders each week. Kerr Gibb is joined on the stand-by list by Strathglass forward Scott Douglas, Lovat’s Owen Ferguson, and Kinlochshiel defender John Don MacKenzie. The Scotland U21 and Ireland U21 meet at Croke Park, Dublin on Saturday 30 October 2010. |
