Skye Manager Praise One-Touch Forward Play. | |
27 September 2010 Skye Camanachd first team manager Aonghas MacDonald praised the one-touch performance of his forwards following their 5-2 victory over Strathglass at Cannich in Marine Harvest North Division 1 on Saturday 25 September 2010. “We scored some good goals today and there was some really good one-touch link up play between the forwards,” said MacDonald. “The forwards moved the ball about well throughout most of the game and that was pleasing.” “It was what you could call a solid performance and we had to grind out parts of the game. We could have cleared our lines better at times but I thought we competed very well indeed.” “We introduced Iain Grant, another one of our promising youngsters, for his first appearance in the first team and he did well as did Jordan Murchison when he came on as a substitute up front.” The win brings Skye Camanachd’s Marine Harvest North Division 1 campaign to an end but the Islanders will try to have the 2010 Thomas Ferguson Memorial Cup played before the season ends. |
