Plenty Of Action At The 2010 Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final. | |
14 September 2010 Plans are taking shape for a full day’s shinty at the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 18 September 2010. The itinerary for the day is taking place and the Bught Park gates open for the youth finalists at 10am. The MacMaster Cup Final between Kinlochshiel U14 and Fort William U14 throws up on the main pitch at 11.45am and the final will be 35 minutes each way. The Scottish Hydro Development Trophy Final between Skye Camanachd B U14 and Milngavie & Bearsden U14 also throws up at 11.45am and this will take place on the back pitch. This is a repeat of the 2009 Final and lasts 30 minutes each way. Both trophies will be presented at the Main Stand starting at 1pm. There will be shinty skills stations and a bouncy castle. There will also be a beer tent for the adults and a Highland Food Fayre offering the finest local produce. The Camanachd Association are considering having a big screen in operation during the Camanachd Cup Final which will show television coverage of the game. The Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final at the Bught Park, Inverness throws up at 2.20pm. Admission for a fantastic day’s shinty is £10 and £5 for concessions. The final will also be shown live on BBC2 Scotland where coverage starts at 2pm. Iain Anderson and Hugh Dan MacLennan are the match commentators. |
